Thoughts that I thought.

Posted: October 20, 2010 in Uncategorized

Recently someone told me and a bunch of church peeps this. If we were to suddenly disappear from our community, our school, where we are now, will be be missed?
Truth is that I have no idea. But the point is, have we made an impact in where we are?
If we didn’t make that impact, what would be the purpose of our existence?

If one day I were to leave, will I be missed?

Cooking

Posted: October 13, 2010 in Uncategorized

On the date of 12.10.10, Jericho Ho Jun Lin has finally cooked something with his bare hands! (With the mentoring of David Sentosa)
APPLE CRUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!!!

It was an experience that I’ll never forget, the taste of that dessert is sweet. Very sweet.
Sweeter than any couple I’ve come across, sweeter than any sweet that is wrapped with plastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, this dessert is one of a kind.
Though it’s looks may be nothing, it packs a mean punch. You wouldn’t regret eating it unless u have diabetes.

I really thank God for this wonderful experience. It’s truly one of a kind and I wanna continue to find this passion in learning things like cooking which I feel antiquate about.
I really don’t know how to sat this, but I know that God didn’t make my hands just for writing and typing. God made these hands of mine for more. More and more.

I’m looking forward to cooking more things with David, and I’m looking forward to the day I cook up stuff (other than cup noodles) on my own! ^^

Holding Grudges?

Posted: October 11, 2010 in Uncategorized

Today I came across the most irritating thing that happen to me for a very long period of time.
I shall keep everything confidential and nobody should know what really happened.
Well now there is this person that I’m very irritated with. Was just telling God a lot of stuff.
He or she is definitely not the most nicest person around.

I am really irritated by him/she until just now. I don’t know if I still am irritated but I can tell you that I won’t hold a grudge against this person. I know that he/she has some issues in his/her life that he don’t wanna let God change, but I know one day God will just soften his/her heart. I’ll pray for this person. (No I don’t go to the same church as this person)

I also wanna say that forgiving this person is not easy. I was really arguing with God in the toilet for quite a while. I know that I have to love ppl who are difficult to love, so I’ll just do my best in this area.

As for the person who is irritated me, things could have been done in a better way de. It’s how you choose to respond.

Perceptions

Sometimes you wonder how come some people are good in math and some people after a while they will forget about how math work. Well these people that do well in math are probably separated into 2 categories – The memorise till siao ones or the understand math pretty well ones.

For those people who understand math well, how to do it, how come this how come that, there is another skill that they need to have – looking at it at different point of views. For instance, circle properties. That chapter itself requires you to have the third eye’s presence to save your sorry butt if you wanna do it and do it well. By being able to see things at different point of views, it gives you an advantage if you are doing Amath because Amath is crazy. Okay, I’m still in sec sch so I’m using the term Amath. With this 3rd eye, you would be able to see things in different point of views, very chim stuff. Lazy to explain farther.

Well, this skill is not just for plainly math though. It could be used in life. From where you stand, your friend has a problem. You view it through the eyes of him, instead of the other party more, right? Normally anyone would. But looking at it in a different point of view could actually make a lot of difference. I’m not saying in everything needs to be shown or done. But sometimes in life, if we have this ability, we should use it more and more.

How you perceive things are very important. Do you know that?

When darkness turns to light

Posted: October 7, 2010 in Uncategorized

Hi, I’m here to just post something from my heart. Something that just sparked my heart a few moments ago and I can’t just let it die down.
Do you know that there’s a Savior out there that wants to save us? Save each and everyone one of us? Save us all?
Well, to tell you the truth, I know. And I really want more people to know that fact that a Savior is here to save us from our own selves, our own darkness.

Seriously, I’m one of those who was fished out of the darkness. I used to dwell in this darkness and emptiness. Hey, hey, this is not a joke. I’m serious. Well not the fished out part, but you get the point. I came out of the darkness before, and now I’m in the light.

But why? Why do I choose to be in the light? Isn’t darkness way cooler than the light? Isn’t that why there is such a job called Dark knight in RPG games? Come on, that’s stupid, it’s a game. Life isn’t a game, when you choose something, you can’t delete this character, you can’t restart in level 1. You gotta continue with every decision you make. Mind you, it’s auto-saved every single second so there is no return.

Had been talking to people without this Savior in their lives. Some of them still are doing well. As in they are generally nice people. But, heck, they don’t know what to do at times.
At times I really just feel like telling them, dude there is a Savior who loves you so much, but I really don’t know how to bring it to them!

What a complicated thought.
